This topic was discussed sometime back in our weekly team meeting. The primary purpose of this discussion was to heighten the team spirit, which will eventually help in more efficient work done by the team.This obviously provided me with a splendid opportunity to know all individual (as I've recently joined this team). Although, I still feel advertisements do more good & no harm. But, after the discussion I realized a few negatives of advertising. Certainly not harmful, but annoying, galling etc. Needless to say every good thing has a bad side to it as well, & contrariwise. Advertising is a concept, which tests the level of innovation for a designer, makes the general public aware of what good products are available in market & which ones are cost effective (based on how much one can spend). Advertising helps make market more competitive & gives equal opportunity to a small entrepreneur when compared with large entrepreneurs. With competition comes quality at a reasonable price. On contrary to this, there are certain advertising concepts which I believe could be annoying to the user. It can be either advertising over the internet which hinders with the download of actual content & may result in loss of bandwidth to the user.The other form of advertising is Mobile advertising, where an advertisement is sent in the form of an SMS, this kind of advertising cannot be harmful, but definitely its annoying. Having said this, I’m sure someone must be having a different opinion from what is written above & that is bound to happen.

15th May was the day I joined my team in Mysore. This was not the first time I'm coming here. It looks all the same as it was during my earlier visit.Instantaneously I can spot the difference.Every second, there is an on-going comparison at the back of my mind. This comparison is not for "what it was" & "what it is now", but it is the comparison of 2 great kingdoms; the United Kingdom & the Kingdom of Mysore. One has ruled the world for centuries & is known for its dominance in world affairs until very recently while the other is known for the stiff resistance it gave to the British Army & of course the Tiger of Mysore (Tippu Sultan). The 2 world wars have seen the emergence of new super powers & with it the decline of British supremacy in world affairs, while Mysore is now a small city of the Republic of India. How different the 2 kingdoms can be. One is designed, keeping in mind even the tiniest detail & With so much perfection, that no one can get lost. Its beauty lies in the way it is planned & the way they tried to preserve our mother nature. One can easily notice the symmetry across the Country. While the other is on a road to development. Although, people lead totally different lives, but they have 1 thing in common people out here are humble to the core.

My life - as every other individual's - has been ful of crests & troughs. A crest or a trough can be defined as an instantaneous value (or a relative value based on the situation) in mind when, whatever one says is considered right & acts admired or is considered worng or criticised; respectively.
On (Mathematical) integration of this value (of a crest or a trough) with limits from 0 (the date of birth) till today one can identify the absolute value of the highs & lows. This is how success or failure is defined.

Based on the above this is the crest of my life. But surprisingly, on integration the result is neither a success nor a failure!!!
Probably because the crest is a relative term (as mentioned above) & I can still sense there is a lot to achieve (The birth of self motivation).
